We recognize that stakeholder engagement is not a “one-size-fits-all” exercise. Different groups have specific interests regarding our business. We tailor our interactions to communicate with diverse stakeholder groups creating opportunities to learn and grow.

We maintain regular engagement with all levels of government officials in the regions where we operate through in-person and virtual meetings, site tours and more formally through the regulatory process. Building awareness and educating regulators and government officials on our activities and operations is critical to our success.

Our Board provides direct oversight of Crestwood’s sustainability and ESG performance and overall business strategy. Board members attend quarterly Board and Committee meetings, receive regular business updates and provide input into key business strategies.

Regular engagement with local community members is important to us. We understand that to do this right requires frequent and regular communication. Our field and corporate teams are dedicated to listening and engaging with local communities through community meetings, volunteer activities and one-on-one discussions. We work with local leaders, businesses and organizations in support of community initiatives.

Crestwood is honored to be a recognized leader in the midstream sector in customer service by EnergyPoint Research. We consider a variety of engagement strategies to stay connected to our customers. We routinely interact through email, phone calls and virtual sessions, in-person meetings (when safe to do so) and participate in trade shows and conferences. We also engage in key educational programs by providing customers with site visits to Crestwood’s operating facilities.

Our best resource is our talented people. In 2022, Crestwood’s headquarters was honored with being recognized by the Houston Chronicle as a Top Workplace for the fifthconsecutive year. We cultivate a culture of open and honest communication with our employees and create new and exciting avenues to engage with all our team members. We engage with our employees through quarterly town hall meetings, employee surveys, social media, CEO video messages and monthly virtual meetings featuring different members of senior management.

Crestwood is committed to engaging with Indigenous Peoples near the areas where we operate. This is particularly true with the Mandan, Hidatsa and Arikara (MHA) Nation and its members who reside near our Williston Basin operating assets. We aim for transparent and collaborative engagement with the MHA Nation, and other Indigenous Peoples, through regular engagements and meetings, community events and one-on-one discussions. This is further outlined in our Indigenous Relations Policy.

We participate, and in most cases, lead and chair committees in a variety of industry groups. Our participation provides opportunities to share and create best practices, focus on key emerging issues and maintain collaborative relationships with our industry peers.

We are committed to keeping our investors apprised of our operations and financial performance. Engagement with our investors includes frequent communication, quarterly earnings calls and presentations, conferences, roadshows and review of our annual sustainability report.

Partnering and supporting local non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and community-based organizations (CBOs) is central to our social investment strategy. We participate on committees, attend virtual meetings and sponsor advocacy and fundraising activities that provide societal benefits.

As key members of our value chain, we engage current and potential suppliers frequently from selection and contracting processes to participation in annual ISN forums and meetings.
